Getting it oh so JUST right...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It's one thing to be an admirer of Jesus Christ, but it's a whole new ball game to be a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ. Yet this is our calling, the scriptures are clear. But we're very good at the "getting it just right" approach to life; we worship with just the right people, and just the right message, and just the right music, and if it's all not just quite right, we'll do our best to find the path of least resistance in order to satisfy self over all else. Truth be known, we love our performances, whether it be in the spoken word and/or in the worship music, but it hasn't always been this way. Jesus said, "The hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." (John 4:23-24) It has never been about our preferences, but rather, it has always been about WORSHIPING you O Lord in spirit and truth, may we all seek the truth in the scriptures over personal preferences every moment of our remaining days… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
