Doing the right thing...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It certainly sounds counterintuitive, but I feel that those who have the best interests of others at heart have to work much harder than they should in order to make it easier than it should be for others. Isn't that just like Jesus to teach us such contradictory-to-the-world ways, ways that the worldly just can't possibly comprehend. For Jesus taught, "Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave, just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." (Matthew 20:26-28) If that's not a testimony to doing things the right way in this life then I'll never know, for Jesus is the answer when it comes to knowing how to treat our brothers and sisters in this life! Is it easy to do? Nope, never has been and never will be, but may we walk in the footsteps of Jesus and to know that we're doing the right thing, no matter how difficult it may be… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
