As far as the east is from the west...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Lord, we could use more of your patience, of your mercifulness, of your graciousness, and more of your steadfast love for mankind. For we are just the opposite more times than we would like to admit. No, we should never look to other individuals for our examples of how to treat one another, for we will always find faults, and then repeat those faults over and over again. May we look to you and your beautiful words in the Psalms; "The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. He will not always chide, nor will he keep his anger forever. He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us." (Psalm‬ ‭103‬:‭8‬-‭12‬) You knew we needed to see mercy and grace in action, may we always acknowledge that Jesus is and always will be THE purest definition of love this world will ever know… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
