A prepared place for a prepared people…

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... There's a tendency in this life to refer to our loved ones who have passed as looking down from above, at peace, at rest; that's all well and good for us to feel good about their current situation, but at the end of the day, our salvation is an individual decision. Are we going to follow Jesus, or are we going to let this world whip-saw us around into who it desires for us to be? There's a powerful case for us to align our lives with Christ and allow His forgiving blood to remove our sins forevermore, for Revelation 21:4 states, "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." We all desire to be in heaven, but are we willing to do what it takes to follow Jesus in this life, to submit to His will, and to be baptized into his death, burial, and resurrection, His gospel, thus aligning our lives with Him; at peace and at rest forevermore; prepared to be forgiven… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
