A new way, yes, a new way...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... How we view others and interact with one another matters immensely. We feel that some interactions require us to take action, while others invoke an emotional reaction but without action, and yet other circumstances simply cause us to be frustrated with our existing condition. How we choose to respond to conflict will either cause others to want to know how we remained in-control or they'll drive others to even more severe acts of aggression. As followers of Jesus Christ, it's not easy being us, and it's even more difficult when complicated by the irrational acts of others against us. But Jesus, not shying away from the best practice here, stated boldly and confidently; "You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I say to you, Do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if anyone would sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles." (Matthew 5:38-41) A new way, YES, a new way; a way leading to new life… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
