A forgiven people...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... We all know the BIG sins, sins THOSE people commit, and in knowing, feeling justified of our innocence in our own eyes. But the truth is, 99.9% of things (sins) that separate us from you, O Lord, are sins that have a way of creeping into our lives, sins that start with a temptation here a temptation there, literally a slippery slope to removing us from your presence. Whether big sin or small sin, SIN convicts us, and in doing so, removes us from your loving arms. So, now more than ever, "Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death." (James 1:13-15) But thanks be to Jesus, we have a way back when we screw up; by the blood of Jesus, we are now a completely forgiven people… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
